Anthony Loydd Givner was born on September 29, 1952.  Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Anthony attended Westinghouse High School.  Anthony served the City of Pittsburgh for 47 years as a Supervisor. Anthony was a strong and resilient man who struggled with many things but was a provider and protector of his family whom he cherished most.

Early in life, he started his family and during that time he fathered 3 wonderful children, later becoming the father of 6 more.  He met and married the love of his life, Lynn (Toni) Mason.  Anthony learned to become a strong, devoted father and husband.

On January 26, 2014, Anthony left this world to join his brother Donald Givner on their journey home to be with our family.  Anthony was preceded in death by his father, the late Leon Givner, Sr., brother Ronald (Nickey) Givner,  son, Anthony Givner, Jr. and nephew Larry Giles.

Cherishing his memory are his mother,Yuvonne (Bonnie) Smith-Givner; loving brothers and sister:  Leon Givner, Jr., Shane Givner, Lonnie (Rickey) Givner, Carole Goodman-Givner, Kim Peays, Shawna Smith and Tammie Smith.

Anthony's legacy will include his children:  Antoinette Heard, Tanya Givner, Nakieva Freeman, Eddie Freeman, Tahsha Mason, India Mason, and a host of beautiful grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
