Age 86, Betty transitioned on June 1, 2021.  She was born on March 23, 1935 from the union of Peter and Emma Kaercher in Pittsburgh, PA.  After graduating, Betty married her beloved husband Peter and had her three children.  Betty devoted her life to being a great wife and mother.  She was known for her loving nature and effervescent spirit.  "To know her, is to love her"  She was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Derke.  Betty leaves to cherish her memory her son Richard Derke; daughters Janice Vogel (David) and Donna Derke; brother Harry Kaercher; two grandchildren; and a host of other family members, church family, and friends.
