Marie Jones

age 92, cherished mother of Patricia and Cynthia, transitioned on November 11, 2019.  Marie was born February 22, 1927 in Richmond, VA to Henry and Lillian.  She graduated high school and went on to college where she obtained a degree in Esthesiology.  Marie dedicated her life to serving the Lord.  She spent many years preaching and volunteering her time to many churches, including St. John Evangelist Church of Hazelwood.  Marie will be eternally missed by her daughters Patricia McClendon and Cynthia Jefferson; her beloved 12 grandchildren, each of her precious great grandchildren; church family, other relatives and friends.  Visitation: Sunday, November 17, 2019 4pm-8pm at St. Evangelist Church where services will be held Monday at 11am.  Interment: Greenwood Cemetery.
