Paul Rhodes, age 85,  passed away at home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in West Miff;in, Pennsylvania. Paul was born on October 8, 1931 in Council, North Carolina to Ethell and King Rhodes.  Paul married Ethelene Miller.  Paul was the father of two sons, Craig and Darrell. Paul was a member of the United States Army and served in the Korean War.  He received a medal along with his honorable discharge at the conclusion of his service. Paul spent many years working for United States Steel.  He retired from the Electric Furnace in 1984. Paul was a loving father and a delight to all of his friends and relatives.  He always had a story to tell the youngsters in his family. An avid gardener,  Paul was known for his kind heart and pleasant laugh. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Ethelene Rhodes; two sons, Craig Rhodes and Darrell Rhodes; beloved grandson, Chaudre Lavon Rhodes; two brothers Levi  and Thomas Murray and many other relatives and friends. Interment:  National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
