Annie Lara Idena Peace, age 82, was born on September 15, 1938 to the late Grant Peace and Luvenia Lewis Peace. Annie was the fourth child. She spent her childhood and youth as a student in Granville County Schools. She was a member of the Antioich Baptist Missionary Church on Oxford, North Carolina. She was united in marriage on February 4, 1954 to Titus Lee Williams, who preceded her in death. They were married for 50 wonderful years. To this union, four children were born, Brenda, who preceded her in death, Melinda Jean Johnson (James), Titus Williams Jr. (Tracy) and James Williams (Roberta). Annie also had 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Annie moved to Pittsburgh, PA in 1954. She joined Nazarene Baptist Church and has been a dedicated member since. Annie became a Deaconess and her husband Titus became Deacon in 1983. She was employed by West Penn Hospital for 28 years until she later retired. Annie enjoyed singing in the Gospel Choir, Senior Choir, and the Mass Choir. The song she loved most was “I found the answer, Only what you do for Christ Will Last”. Annie loved God, Life, and Family. She was preceded in death by her late husband Titus Lee Williams and her beloved daughter Brenda. Annie leaves behind to cherish her beautiful life and memory sons Titus Williams Jr. (Tracy) and James Williams (Roberta); and her daughter Melinda Jean Johnson (James); sisters Priscilla LeMay and Mabel Williams; brothers Grant, Leonard, and Garland Peace; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members, nieces, nephews, church family, and friends. The family would like to thank Pastor James Anderson for your continued love, support, and dedication to our mother. We love and appreciate you! Services will be held Monday, October 12, 2020 at Nazarene Baptist Church.
