Vicki Lou Rawlins Kizzie, 70, was born on September 9, 1950 and received her heavenly reward on December 2, 2020. Vicki was the daughter of Rachel (Major) Turner and Frank (Catherine) Rawlins. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Floyd Kizzie. Together, Vicki and Floyd were a bright and shining example that soulmates really do exist.
Vicki was a member of the Monessen High School Class of 1969, known for her quick wit and endearing sense of humor. As a lifelong resident of Monessen, Vicki shared her caring heart and giving spirit as a nurse. Residents of The Residence at Hilltop, Havencrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Baldwin Health Center and Mon Valley Care Center all had a chance to know and love her, over the years. Her compassion for people in need was unrivaled, and she always treated her patients with the utmost respect and dignity. Vicki loved the Lord and her family, more than anything in this world. She was a constant reminder to many, that Prayer Changes Things. Her hobbies included Bible study, cooking, reading, watching her favorite shows, and spending time with those she held dear. Vicki’s children, Tiffanie Rawlins-Little Elm, TX, Baron (Rayme) Rawlins-Raleigh, NC, and Troy Rawlins-Pittsburgh, PA will continue to find solace in knowing how Blessed they were to have her, as their mother. Her grandchildren, Taryn, Tevin, Albert, Cameron, and Savannah were the light of her life Vicki had three sisters, Jennifer (Richard) Frazier, Kathleen Rawlins, the late Deborah Reynolds, a brother, Frank (Debbie) Davis; a step-mother, Catherine Rawlins; a step-brother and sister, Arthur and Djuna Tansmore, her favorite uncle, George Calloway, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who adored her.
Services will be held at the Christian Life Ministries on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Visitation 4pm-5pm Service 5pm Interment: National Cemetery of the Alleghenies
